GUESTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD
Under the Margrave of Baden, spa and health treatments in Badenweiler came to full bloom. He built the first public bath, the Marmorbad, in 1875. Balneological therapies soon followed. Doctors in Germany and abroad were enthusiastic about the beneficial effects of a cure in Badenweiler and sent their patients here to recover, and thus began Badenweiler's rise to become an exclusive spa resort in the Black Forest. As the number of guests increased, more and more highly qualified doctors and therapists were attracted to the town.
Today we no longer only welcome spa guests from all over the world. In the meantime, Badenweiler has become a popular holiday destination for active and wellness holidaymakers, nature and culture lovers.
